How Much Sex Is Everyone Having

Ever had so much sex you wondered whether it’s normal? But first, is there even anything like too much sex? Wait, wait, maybe you haven’t done it for a while and you’re like, “is this even legal?” Just one more tiny question, ever been curious about how much sex other people are getting?

Well, say less dear ladies, this piece is for you!

I’ll have to say, that God did actually bless us when He invented sex, and we know you all couldn’t be more grateful. Simply put it’s amazing, that intimate moment when your breaths are in sync, craving for only one thing. It can’t be explained it just can’t. Pure bliss.

Human sexuality is beautifully complex. You can’t just put a simple definition on it and lemme not even get started on how everyone has different experiences. Our world today has made the topic so much easier to talk about. Some even tell us too much! But do you know that despite all the freedom we have right now, there’s still so much we don’t know?

Do you know how much sex men have? I’m like 100% sure you’d get the answer wrong and this was proven by a survey done by Ipsos, a polling firm. It’s even worse for men because we’ll see that some of them are completely clueless about female sexuality. So in short both men and women are guilty.

From the research done, if you ask a man how much sex a woman, say 18 to 29 years, has in a month, he’d probably say 23 times. That’s in the US and 22 times in the UK. Don’t laugh, that’s like every day! But wait, to anyone having sex every day, you go girl, we live for pleasure. The average time, however, that women have sex is around five times. How huge is that difference? Grab a handful and sit them down cause we need to talk!

“It’s interesting that this misperception is so profound. It illustrates the extent to which men really don’t understand female sexuality,” Chris Jackson, a spokesperson for Ipsos, told BuzzFeed News. “Men just don’t seem to have a good understanding of the reality for women. I guess that’s not actually news.”

Hold on, you ladies weren’t so correct either on men’s sexual frequency, but giving credit where it’s due, your guesses were pretty close. Women and men guessed that 18 to 29-year-old men usually have sex 14 times per month. Guilty as charged for thinking it was even higher, but guess what? It’s about four times. Who would have thought!

The survey showed just how off we are about other women as well. Taking the average guess from females of all ages, women thought other women have sex 12 times a month. How many times did you have sex last month?

If you can’t relate and think that there’s a problem somewhere, keep calm lovelies. The survey assessed a broad group of people. And sexuality varies a whole lot depending on lifestyle, whether someone is single or not, their sexual preferences, and many others. So we can’t go on and say that everyone has sex five times a month! The results, therefore, aren’t 100% accurate. Also, people can bend the truth a bit, so let’s just have an open mind right now. Can I just mention again that anyone having sex 23 times a month is badass? Just in case you forgot.

The next section was even more shocking. Before you read the results, guess how many sexual partners a man and a woman have had, let’s say by age 45 to 54. Now lemme show you how wrong you also were.

Congratulations to the people of the UK and Australia for almost getting it right. They guessed that men have from 15 to 19 partners. This is pretty close to the actual average which is 17. They didn’t do so well for a woman’s though, guessing around 16 to 20, when it’s actually 8. The men in the US did a dreadful job at guessing a woman has an average of 27! That’s more than double the actual 12.

The curious thing with the results was why we all think men have a higher number of partners than women.

“There are a number of suggested explanations for this – everything from men’s use of prostitutes to how the different genders interpret the question (for example, if women discount some sexual practices that men count),” they wrote

We’ll just let you in on our version of the truth. Men will always up their numbers slightly simply because well, I guess it gives them more boy points and prestige, I’m not sure how messed up that is. Women, they’re more likely to deflate theirs. Siz, we’re sensual beings by nature, and you better hold your head high when you talk about all your sexual experiences.
